1	Magnetic Oil Gauge of Main Tank and Conservator Tank		Oil to be filled in the transformer in case of low oil level and checked for oil leakage
2	Colour of Silica Gel in the Breather		If silica gel becomes pinkish, it should be replaced.
3	Leakage of Oil from any point of  the Transformer		If oil leakage is found, required steps need to be taken to plug the leakage
Fire Fighting
4	Check Fire Service Access		Ensure that fire service access are kept clear
	Diesel Generator
5	Check and inspect lubrication oil Level
6	Check leakage of Cooling water from Radiator
7	Check vibration and Noise
8	Check leakage of Fuel Line
Hydro Generators
9	Abnormal Noise at Stator Core		check for core looseness especially at frame joints
10	Wound Stator		Check core , winding temperature Cooled air and cooling system
11	Guide and Thrust Bear		Check Bearing Temperature wchich can be due to Abnormal Vibrations, Balancing of rotor, Dirty Oil coolers, Cooling water flow , contaminated oil and bearing clearances
12	Level Gauge on oil level		Check Level Gauge of Oil . The oil level can be high due to water leakage and low due to leakage of oil from housing
13	Water leakage in Cooler Tubes of Air Coolers		Check Water Leakage in Cooler tubes and if leakage found plug the leaking tube
14	Air Pressure in Pressure Gauge		Check air pressure in pressure gauge and check for leakage and pipeline joints
15	Sparking and Mix of Dust/ Oil in Brushes of Collector		Check  sparking and Mix of C Dust/ oil  and clean if dust found
16	Commutation in Commutator Brush Gear of DC Exciter		Check Commutation in commutation Brush Gear
17	External examination of parts of generator which are accessible
18	External inspection of coolers, oil coolers, pipe lines, sealing &control etc. for leakages
19	Ensure Cleanliness of all external accessible parts of the generator &wipe with clean & dry cloth.
Turbine
20	Temperature of bearings of the Pump-motor set
21	Conditions of rubber seal of the pump and see that air is not being sucked from here into the system
